A section of PSG fans have taken to the club’s headquarters in France to demand the exit of their two football superstars, Lionel Messi and Neymar Junior.
These fans targeted Messi predominantly with some filthy words. This followed his unsanctioned trip by the club a few days ago to Saudi Arabia.
Apparently, PSG retaliated by suspending the 7 time Ballon D’or winner for two weeks. In this time, he won’t be training with the rest of the club and neither will he get his weekly wages.
The Argentine will not return until the second half of May. He will miss games against AC Ajaccio and Troyes. Messi’s woes in the French capital became tougher after winning the 2022 World Cup in Qatar at the expense of France.
According to these reports, these fans were heard chanting “Messi, son of b****” in both French and Spanish. For Neymar they were chanting “Neymar get lost, Neymar get lost, Neymar, Neymar, Neymar, get lost.”

Messi has already made it clear through his agent, Jorge Messi that he wont be renewing his contract with the Parisiennes. For Neymar, it’s not known if he will make a move from the French capital.
Chances are high for La Pulga to return to Camp Nou. However, this move might be hampered by Barcelona‘s financial crisis.
It’s reported that Saudi Pro League Al Hilal have offered the Argentine a salary worth more than €400m/year.

PSG’s hierarchy has meanwhile come out to condemn the behavior of some of their fans towards their players.

The major priority of the club’s Qatari ownership has been the Champions League. However the trio of Kylian Mbappe, Leo Messi and Neymar have failed to deliver this.
