FUFA Big League: NEC, Kitara to continue title battle

FUFA Big league sides NEC and Kitara are to continue their title battle today on 9th March at Bugolobi Coffee playgrounds.
In coming to this match, Kitara FC sits at the top of the table with 37 points while NEC are in the 2nd position with also 37 points. They are however 11 less goals than Kitara.
In their first meeting in Hoima, Kitara defeated NEC 2-0 at Kigaaya playgrounds.
NEC FC dropped points in their last league game against rivals Mbarara city FC in Mbarara.
Ssimbwa at Kitara had his first win against Lugazi (1-0) ever since he joined the club and this is will boost him towards this challenging task.
NEC FC ‘s head coach Michael Lukyamuzi reveals how his team is prepared to fight for maximum points.
” The League is tight and every game comes with its own pressure. What we do is to prepare the players to go and fight for maximum points “.
” It is our first season in FUFA Big League but we have the ability to overcome any opponent. And at the moment we are looking at game per game”.
On the other side Kitara FC ‘s head coach Sam Ssimbwa urged his team to maintain the recent form and on top of that add more goals.
“We need to hit the front better and harder. You saw in our last match we put up a better performance especially in the defense but we must add more goals to our game. That is crucial and we intend to going forward”.
Kitara FC has only scored 3 goals in 4 games. This explains the effect of the departure of their striker Patrick kaddu. Therefore George Ssenkaaba and Edison Agondeze will be tasked to score more goals to help the team.
